CBI: Cultivating Dignity in a Year of Rupture
If the scale of this year’s social justice uprisings, global health crisis, and ecological collapse indicates anything, it’s that there is an undeniable need for all of us to work together toward deeper understanding and positive change.

Join the Consensus Building Institute (CBI) for a participatory discussion about cultivating dignity in dialogue.

This session will start with a very brief presentation from Merrick Hoben, CBI Senior Mediator, about the frame of reference he has developed to help design more effective processes and gauge the potential for “dignity in dialogue” and transformative conversations.

We will then open the discussion to hear from others about their experiences around fostering dignity in high conflict situations. What has or hasn't worked? What principles do you think are important? How can we collectively structure deeper conversations, embedded in dignity?

To learn more about the AARC framework - Acknowledgement, Agency, Reciprocal Engagement, and Clarity - developed by Merrick ahead of the discussion, please see here: https://www.cbi.org/article/cultivating-dignity-in-a-year-of-rupture/
